Apple Pie

10” Pie pan or 13x9 pan

7-8 Granny Smith Green Apples (16 slices per apple)
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 shakes from salt shaker

Put first 5 ingredients in a plastic bag and shake until apples are well coated.

If using a 10” pie pan then use top and bottom crust.  If using a 13x9 pan, only use top crust.

1.    Prepare bottom crust
2.    Put apples in crust
3.    Dot top of apple mixture with 2 tablespoons butter
4.    Put top crust on.
5.    Sprinkle top crust with nutmeg and sugar
6.    Cut vent holes on top
7.    Cook at 400 degrees for 50 minutes or until done

Will probably overflow and mess up oven.
