Fudge from Jane Metler


3 (6oz) pkgs. chocolate chips    (approx 3 cups)
2 cups nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup butter

Let stand to room temperature: chocolate chips, nuts, vanilla and butter in a large bowl.

4 cups sugar
1 (13oz) can evaporated milk

7 oz jar of Marshmallow Creme or 20 large marshmallows, cut up

Bring sugar and milk to a boil in a large saucepan and keep at rolling boil for 8 minutes.  Dump this all at one time over the chocolate mixture, add marshmallows and stir vigorously by hand until chocolate chips and butter are melted and mixture smooth.
