Cinnamon-Sugar Coating, see below
1 cup butter, room temperature
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1 ½ tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt

Cinnamon-Sugar Coating:
2 T sugar
1 ½ tsp cinnamon

Prepare Cinnamon-Sugar Coating; set aside.  Preheat oven to 375°.  In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy.  Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt, beating until blended.  Shape into 1-inch balls.  Roll in Cinnamon-Sugar Coating, covering completely.  Place 2 ½ inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.  Bake 10 minutes or until golden.  Remove cookies from baking sheets; cool on racks.  Makes about 80 cookies.

Cinnamon-Sugar Coating:
In a small, combine sugar and cinnamon.
