Peach Cobbler 1 cup quick oatmeal ½ cup flour 1 cup brown sugar ½ cup sugar 1 tsp cinnamon Dash salt ½ cup butter In mixing bowl combine oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, sugar cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter until mixtures is crumbly. Pieces of butter should be the size of coarse crumbs. Set aside. Prepare 5 cups peaches Add ¼ tsp nutmeg ¼ tsp allspice 1 tsp vanilla Place fruit in a 10x6 baking dish, dot with butter-about ¼ cup. Sprinkle flour mixture over fruit. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream. |
