Suet Pudding

            Suet  Pudding

3 cups bread crumbs and add 1 cup scalded milk.  Mash with hands, when cool

Add:

1 ¼ cups flour
½ cup white sugar
1 tsp salt
½ tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp cinnamon
1 large apple
2 cups finely ground suet
1 cup dark corn syrup
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups raisins

Steam 3 hours

Nutmeg Sauce

Melt ¼ cup butter
Add:
2 T cornstarch
2 cups white sugar
nutmeg to taste
