Coleslaw

                Coleslaw

2 cups mayonnaise
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup cider vinegar
1 ½  T celery seeds
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 medium cabbage, shredded
2 carrots, grated

Stir together first 6 ingredients in a large bowl; add cabbage and carrots, tossing gently.  Cover and chill 3 to 4 hours; serve with a slotted spoon.  Yield:  12 servings.
