Rumaki

2 (8oz) cans whole water chestnuts, drained

Bacon, sliced in half

Wrap each whole water chestnut with a half slice of bacon.  Secure with a toothpick.  Place on a rimmed baking sheet.

Bake at 425° for 25 minutes.  Drain the grease.

 Meanwhile heat ketchup and brown sugar until sugar is dissolved:

1 cup ketchup

1 cup brown sugar

After water chestnuts have been drained, spoon ketchup sauce over the rumaki.  Return to oven and bake another 10-15 minutes.
