Homemade Maple Syrup

1 C Water

2 C Sugar

1/2 tsp Maple Flavoring

Bring water to a boil in a 1 quart saucepan; add sugar and maple flavoring, stirring to dissolve.  Cook 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat.  Store leftovers in refrigerator.  Yield:  2 cups
